Description of the job

The Airbus Employee Communications department –RIA– is looking for an internship for 6 months in Intern Communication (m/f). The internship will start on September 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

The Main missions of the department are:

·  Deliver efficient and state of the art employee communications throughout Airbus to support compa-ny's strategic objectives and transformation
·  Equip managers with the appropriate information and tools to facilitate discussions with their teams, to share strategic information and to promote leadership behaviours
·  Contribute to employee's engagement and sense of belonging

Tasks & accountabilities

To support Employee Communications team with internal communication activities:

·  Editorial support in planning, suggestions follow-up and news publication (on line, TVs and print)
·  Lean / visual management activities
·  Intranet shared space management
·  Internal and event organisation
·  Coordination and monitoring of communication plan
·  Reporting and analysis on KPIs linked to communication activities

You will benefit from experience in:

·  Knowledge/working in an international and multicultural environment
·  Project management and relationship building
·  Experience in communication and editorial management
·  Working in a dynamic communication function

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

·  Business school, Communication or Engineering school degree equivalent
·  Proactive project management (incl. e.g. planning, reporting and follow-up of mitigation actions)
·  IT proficiency (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, Word, Sharepoint) and digital mindset
·  Functional skills: Capacity to work in an autonomous way, good analytical skills, good communication skills and team player, organised, proactive and who takes initiative
·  English: negotiation level
·  French: negotiation level
