Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work within different areas of Integrated Material Services? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) in the IMS Team (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Hamburg
Start: from November 2018 onwards possible
Duration: 5-6 months

Integrated Material Services (IMS) is a strategic initiative of Satair Group. It is a highly customized service which offers a fully integrated end-to-end supply chain solution for airlines. The service covers expendable and consumable parts and guarantees material availability on-site within a certain service level. Key enablers of the service are material forecasting capabilities and the automation of supply chain processes.

Operations are deployed through a small local team located at the customer and integrated into the airlines' operations and organization. IMS team is deployed globally.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:

·  Provide short-term IT solutions to volume driven business problems
·  Contribute to business automation and performance improvement
·  Develop solutions that automate repetitive tasks on SAP User Interface
·  Design performance monitoring dashboards to facilitate decision making and business monitoring
·  Provide documentation for the solutions
·  Contribute with innovative ideas to solve business' demands
·  Support on data analysis

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled Student (m/f) within Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology or Supply Chain Management, Information Management or similar field of study
·  Programming skills are a must
·  Coding expertise desired: VBA, Python, SAP scripting or Java
·  English: advanced
·  German: Beginner

You have strong analytical skills combined with social competences, a high level of motivation, and you are a team Player with cross-cultural communication skills.
