Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

You will be in charge of the continuous improvement of logistics activities for the position, the unit, and the plant.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will act as the main interface between the operational functions such as Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Production Scheduling and Procurement in order to ensure delivery of the appropriate part at the point of use, via the appropriate logistical means, within the allocated time.

Your mission will consist in switching the logistics activities from the warehouse to the SAP computerised hub. You will work essentially on Access.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering/business school or a Master's degree or in 5th year at university, specialising in logistics with a definite interest in computing.

You ideally have an initial experience.

You have the following skills and knowledge:

·  Logistics and supply chain solutions,
·  Computer science,
·  Access tools,
·  Quality management and improvement,
·  Cause and impact analysis,
·  Project lifecycle management,
·  Lean methodologies.

You are able to work without supervision; you have an open mind and are adaptable.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: Intermediate level,
French: Fluent.
