Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse - Blagnac) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

You will integrate the watchtower (WT) team which is working within the Airbus Flight Hours Services (FHS) organisation. The WT is responsible to manage the operations related to spares part management and to drumbeat the supply chain worldwide including customer order management and parts repair management. 250+ A/C are managed today under FHS contracts with more than 1500 customer request per month and more than 2500 shipments monthly.

In order to monitor the operations, the business is working on the development of relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to better assess our performance, understand our issues and deploy the related improvement plans. A Business Intelligence (BI) tool is under study currently for the production of our KPIs.

Two different KPI packages have to be developed:

·  Full supply chain monitoring (WatchMeter KPIs)
·  Supply Chain actors monitoring (Decomposition of the Supply Chain activities per actor)

This internship will start on September 1st 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Defining the IT specification of each KPI
·  Following each KPI development in a project mode
·  Developing or drumbeat the development including the test phase
·  Delivering the KPIs specifications and user guide
·  Deploying the KPIs within the WatchTower Organization

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or in the 3rd year of an engineering school.
You have knowledge of:

·  Agility with KPI and related reporting tool (BI tools)
·  Standard IT tools (good level on Excel)
·  Knowledge in Supply Chain domain would be a plus
·  Project management

You have the following qualities:

English: intermediate level.
French: fluent.
