Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 3- to 6-month internship.

The internship will take place within the Engineering division in the Systems and Industrial Configuration Management department. This department is the reference point for downloaded aircraft software management processes (FLS: Field Loadable Software) and provides internal customers with process support and tools for all Airbus programmes.

The aim of this internship is to define a future tool that can generate configuration file (one of the different types of FLS) specifications. This generation is a complex operation that uses a significant amount of source data. These specifications are used to produce software that will be loaded onto aircraft. Such a tool already exists, but has been deemed too complicated and, in addition, is specific to each aircraft programme.

This internship will start on 5th September 2016 (subject to some flexibility).
