Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for 4-6-month internship.

The training period will take place in the flight test domain, inside a group in charge of the data processing applications support.

This group is working in an international context, for the PATS project (Production Aircraft Test System) with flight test engineers and specialists from Germany, China, US and France.

The aim of PATS project is to help flight test engineers to automatically produce official documents for the delivered aircrafts: A light FTI (flight test installation) and on ground exploitation applications were developed to do this.

This internship will start on 1st March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main mission will include:

·  studying, designing and developing new tools to improve PATS support and helping the Team to identify and monitor issues, with a new innovative approach.

With the raise of big-data technologies, it will be necessary to make the state of the art of existing data tools that can be used for identifying data patterns on logs, making metrics, graphs and providing intelligence for operational support.

In this scope, you will then study and design software modifications for computing and accessing on demand Flight Test Point Parameters.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th year of engineering school, university or equivalent specialising in Engineering / General Engineering.

You ideally have an initial experience.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

You have knowledge of:

·  Software development in C++/java/VB/Dotnet,
·  Linux/Windows environment.

English: advanced level,
French: advanced level.
