Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within the IT / Infrastructure Process & Tools department, you will be in charge to design & deploy a DevOps solution composed by a set of Open Source Software. You will work directly with the Project Manager, the IT Tools Services development teams and the Infrastructure teams for hosting, network...

All the enterprises need to be more Agile today, by making the bridge between the Development and Operation domains in the entire service lifecycle, from design through the development process to production support DevOps allows companies to deliver quicker and increase the level of quality.

As it is composed by Methods, Practices and Tools DevOps can't be seen as a technical solution but more as an extension of the Agile methods. One of the key of its success is to find the right balance between the Developers and Operations. Tooling is also critical in DevOps as it must allow the automation of the tasks in respect with the company policies especially for processes and securities DevOps is supported by tooling, Open Source Software allow to be more Agile and are the most advance to set up an efficient DevOps solution.

The solution needs to be composed by Tuleap as Application LifeCycle Management, Jenkins to support automation of build and deployment, Sonar to perform code quality analysis, GIT as source code management and Artifactory as repository to automated software package management. Others software can be used like Doxygen for documentation generation or Selenium HQ for functional tests on Web applications.

This internship can start from April, 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Specifying & designing a DevOps solution in respect with the Airbus requirements (security, infrastructure, process…) to support Web Applications developed in PHP & Java,
·  Deploying & configuring the designed solution for the perimeter of the Infrastructure IT Tools Services,
·  Writing the procedures to support the daily usage within development & operations but also the maintenance.

Required skills

¤ You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th yer of engineering IT school, university or equivalent.

¤ Some knowledge of DevOps tool: Tuleap, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, Sonar, Selenium HQ, JMeter and Doxygen will be a plus,

¤ Knowledge of DataBase: MariaDB, MySQL

·  OS: Linux (RedHat 6.x) and Windows
·  Language: Java, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, shell.

You are a team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level at least.
