Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for at least a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 6th February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Within the "Procurement" teams on the assembly lines for commercially available aircraft in Marignane, you will be responsible for providing support (back office) to the teams for the following improvement topics:
1/ You will specifically concern yourself with the physical and logical flows of equipment in dispute: improving the process, reducing processing cycles, following up Quality, formatting and sharing files and coordinating and communicating results.

Within the same improvement approach, you will participate in the implementation of an administrative follow-up process for documents attached to certain equipment (FME, etc.) in coordination with the Quality departments.

2- You will participate in project management concerning the improvement of processes and the resulting organisation tasks.

3- In addition, you may have to perform business-related tasks: managing orders, analysing supplier problems and being the interface between the purchasing, engineering and production departments, etc.

Reporting to the head of department, you will participate in various steering actions of the department, whose objective is to carry out deliveries within the required Airbus Helicopters level of performance and in time, cost and quality.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Engineering/General Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

You are a proficient user of MS Office, in particular Excel (macro, etc.).

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent level.
