Description of the job

Airbus (Elancourt) are looking for an intern for a duration of 6 months to collaborate on the following subjects:

·  Prototyping of an SD-WAN solution,
·  Development of a centralised management algorithm for the control plan of a WAN network within an SDN controller,
·  Development of an interface module for network equipment (Netconf type interface),
·  Development of a user application to control the algorithm (API REST type interface).

This internship will start on 2nd January, 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include for example:

·  Analysis of the architecture of the Airbus network platform and understanding of the need,
·  Study of the definition of the algorithm which controls the WAN control plan management rules (routing and qos),
·  Study of the module interfacing with the network equipment,
·  Study of the definition of the algorithm configuration/control application,
·  Study of the definition of the development and testing of the SD-WAN solution within the Airbus network platform.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in 5th year of university), specialising in engineering/telecommunications and networks.

You should have skills in the development of Web applications (PHP, JavaScript, REST, XML, netconf), Python, C, Knowledge of IP LAN/WAN, SDN networks and the display of networks.

You ideally have some initial experience.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Intermediate level,
French: Fluent
