Description of the job
Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.
To make its solutions more attractive, the OnBoard Surveillance department has decided to produce a new generation of post-mission data analysis station (for airborne surveillance missions) based on data visualisation technologies.
Your objective during the internship will be to produce a data analysis station based on the prototype mock-up produced by the department.
This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Within this framework, your main tasks will include:
· Studying the analysis needs of customers and fulfilling these needs, taking into account the technical limits of the tool used (Datawatch Designer)
· Implementing reading of attachments (JavaScript and/or Python)
· Investigating the possibility of replacing Carmenta Server by GeoServer as the local map server
· Ensuring security by implementing a client HTML server which distributes the analyses (instead of direct visualisation in Datawatch Desktop)
· Implementing predictive analysis calculations across several missions (the current analysis station only analyses a single mission)
Required skills
You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree, or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Information Technology/Software.
You ideally have initial professional experience.
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
English: intermediate level
French: fluent/negotiation level
