Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space Electronics (Elancourt) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 1st March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Within the Procurement department, under the supervision of a Project Buyer, your mission will involve:

·  Identifying new sources for emerging technical and commercial needs: new-generation electronic components, support systems, etc.

This activity will be performed in close collaboration with the Product Managers and the Airbus Defence and Space Electronics and Border Security project teams.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree, or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Procurement.

You ideally have initial professional experience.

You have knowledge of:

·  Requisitions
·  Monitoring/surveillance methods
·  Negotiation and interviewing techniques

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level
French: fluent/negotiation level
