Description of the job
An internship position in Non Quality reduction has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Avionics and Simulation Products Quality department.
In the Avionics Equipment manufacturing environment, you will join the Quality Management System improvement team and take part in Non Quality Reduction projects mainly in:
· suppliers surveillance improvement
· internal & supplier Non Quality eradication
This internship will start in January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main activities will be as follows:
Regarding supplier surveillance you will:
· Analyse the internal and the Part145 (Aviation Authorities) requirements
· Define a surveillance questionnaire, test it on pilot cases and propose monitoring
For internal & supplier Non Quality eradication you will:
· Identify main suppliers issues through interviews and data analysis (KPI, pareto,...)
· Map re-occurrence patterns
· Compare to internal issues
· Propose pre-defined actions templates
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· 2nd year of a Master's degree or 5th year of a university or engineering school, with major in Quality or Production
· Good understanding of Quality requirements in the aeronautical industry
· Excellent user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Team spirit
· French: negotiation level, English: intermediate
