Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within Airbus Safran Launchers, you will join the unit responsible for pre-projects. You will participate in the development of a demonstrator for the "Upper Stage Design" platform for multidisciplinary temporal simulation for the pre-project phases.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Consolidating the statements of need,
·  Defining the relevant disciplines for the simulator, interactions and interfaces,
·  Defining the set of models / software which covers the various simulation fields,
·  Analysing and providing support for the choice of platform for the simulator,
·  Developing an effective visualisation of the mission,
·  Developing the simulator architecture,
·  Using and testing the simulator.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or the 5th year of engineering school or equivalent, specialising in Engineering/Aerospace Engineering.

You have good knowledge of:

·  Matlab,
·  Simulink,
·  Systems engineering
·  Modelling
·  Pre-projects
·  Launchers.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
