Airbus Group Corporate Functions (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Description of the job:
You will join the Data Analytics and Capital Markets Interface Management team within Investor Relations and, as such, will support the team in the various financial analysis tasks and activities, including but not limited to quarterly financial disclosure preparation, market and shareholder analysis as well as peers and benchmarking activities.

Context and difficulties of the position:
The role of Investor Relations is to prepare and manage Airbus Group financial communication towards shareholders and investors, to provide accurate and timely information regarding Airbus Group business and financial developments and to assess market expectations, ensuring that they are consistent with our internal objectives and commitments. In order to support Top Management ahead of disclosures and roadshows, Investor Relations also monitors key sector development and trends, analysing and benchmarking Airbus performance against peers.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will join Investor Relations and take part, in the following activities, among others:

·  Improve IR financial information utilisation (Bloomberg, Reuters, Nasdaq) by developing Excel interfaces and standard reports especially on monthly sector performance, peer benchmarking and investor targeting
·  Support compilation of financial and market data to monitor and track historical performance
·  Support the team in quarterly financial disclosure preparation
·  Provide ad-hoc support in running financial analysis and benchmark studies.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of an engineering school, specialising in Information Technology with a double degree in Finance or a special attraction for finance.

You ideally have experience in this field.

You have knowledge of:

·  Financial/analytical
·  Excel proficiency, especially database management, financial modelling and Macro VBA
·  Ability to multitask, prioritise and deal with short deadlines.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Advanced level
French: Fluent level.
Other languages would be a plus.
