Description of the job
An internship position in Industrial Process Optimisation has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Avionics and Simulation Products Quality department.
In the Avionics Equipment manufacturing environment, you will join the Quality Management System improvement team and take part in the IPCA+ project (Industrial Process Capability Assessment).
Your mission will be to:
· Use available industrial process assessment results (AS IS) to propose process optimisation
· Define the TO BE & implement the changes
This internship will start in January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include to:
· Analyse the information gathered (issues, existing KPI, …) in the following areas : Industrial Documentation, Materials Management, Industrial Resource Management, Proactive Approach, Process Monitoring, Manufacturing Process.
· Liaise with manufacturing teams to define solutions
· Prepare implementation plan and get validation from steering
· Lead pilot implementation in selected areas
· Prepare progress reporting
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· 2nd year of a Master's degree or 5th year of a university or engineering school, with major in Quality, Lean or Production
· Basic knowledge of aeronautics
· A first experience in project management would be an advantage
· Excellent user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Knowledge of SAP and MS Project would be beneficial
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Team spirit
· French: negotiation level, English: intermediate
