Description of the job

An internship position in Engineering Informatics for Airbus Flight Test Department (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Tests Data Processing (EVID) department.

The Tests Data Processing department (EVID) belongs to the Flight and Integration Tests Centre (EV) and is mainly responsible for:

·  The definition, the development and the support of tests data processing systems/solutions for real and differed time tests operations
·  The operation of EV ground data processing centre
·  The training and support to the tests teams on all the developed and delivered solutions

The purpose of this internship will be to design software solutions around data distribution and analysis for the tests centre engineering purposes, focusing the introduction of data based decision-making solutions. The intern will study the security aspects in HADOOP technologies implementation for tests data processing.

This internship will start in February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Collecting and consolidating needs and constraints around security deployment within the HADOOP environment
·  Defining associated restriction to be deployed with regards to the end user eco-system
·  Studying different possible solutions to secure the HADOOP cluster and its components (HDFS, YARN, NoSQL bases, etc.) in different operating environments (CLOUDERA and HORTON WORKS)
·  Setting up a relevant tests environment (including the development of associated tooling) and evaluating previously studied solutions
·  Providing the complete analysis of solutions and consolidate recommendations for implementation
·  Structuring and delivering the appropriate knowledge capitalisation.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  In the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of a university or engineering school, with a specialisation in Informatics,
·  Knowledge in software development (AGILE, etc.) and technologies as HADOOP, JAVA, KERBEROS, etc.
·  Advanced level of English and intermediate level of French
