Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space CyberSecurity (Elancourt) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within Airbus Defence and Space CyberSecurity, you will join the Solutions Development team as an intern.
The main mission of this team is to develop and maintain solutions for the management of information system security monitoring. The Solutions Development team develops software solutions with thin client (web) graphical interfaces to carry out various services.
In order to centralise development methods, facilitate the launch of a project with a web interface and to homogenise the look and feel of our products, you will be in charge of the preparation of a web interface template supporting a business ergonomic standard.
The main objective of this template will be to provide a common basis functions to various products, such as, a banner, a navigation area, a work area, etc. without being dependent on a type of web server and even less on the language used side of it.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your internship will be conducted in front of an existing application to allow the achievement and application of a use case.

The internship will be composed of several phases:
1. Taking the HMI code of one of our products,
2. Designing the template's aspect on the one hand and its API use on the other,
3. Extracting the elements corresponding to the template out of the product,
4. Performing diverse implementations and demonstrations.

The final deliverable is the template document, as well as the documentation explaining how to use it to rapidly design a new HMI standard.

This internship provides an opportunity to gain good knowledge of the company and its processes and consequently better understanding to promote your future development.
The development will be carried out in the interests of high quality and continuous integration methods, TDD and minimalist coding will be applied.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in 5th year of university, specialising in IT.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are proficient with Javascript and you have knowledge in css, html and HMI design.

You are highly interested in UX and UI.

You are a good team player and you have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
