Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

The mission of the HSE department, which falls under the responsibility of Facility Management, is to deploy the Airbus Defence and Space Toulouse Safety and Environment policies and to ensure that the site activities which fall within its area of competence are always performed in compliance with the applicable legislation.

The HSE department is responsible for the deployment of the integrated management system (Safety and Environment) but also providing support to operational agents to assist them in taking safety and environment into account as upstream as possible in their projects.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Within this framework, your main tasks will include:

·  Providing support to the HSE department for the maintenance of the integrated management system up-to-date
·  Assisting with the updating of all operational control documents
·  Participating in professional risks and chemical risks assessments.

This role involves occasional travel for business and as such the jobholder must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of an engineering school in Safety and Environment, university or equivalent.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
You are meticulous, dynamic and good teaching skills. You are adaptable, tenacious and good summary skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
