Description of the job

Occupational Health & Safety Practitioner. Should be an engineer and have a degree/diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
Hygiene, or Ergonomics diploma Delivered by a Competent Authority or Academy. Identifying work-related hazards at work place and assessing the related
occupational risks for implementing in cooperation with the management sound risks reduction programmes. Investigating work-related incidents (from near
miss to Lost time injury) using the best available tools. Promoting Health & Safety at workplace throughout the organisation at all levels (from top
management to workshops), via training, awareness campains, induction, meetings...Good knowledge of indutrial processes. Knowledge of laws and
regulations relating to workplace.
