Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for 6-month internship.

In the frame of ground power supply standardization and due to new Aircraft type, Airbus has to update grand power supply standard. Objective is to ensure compatibility with all Airbus Aircraft (Long Range, Short Range, A380, A350, etc.) and all kind of Ground Power Unit (GPU) available in airports over the world.

The finality is to define requirements to ensure the compatibility for existing GPU but also for new products. These requirements shall take into account all GPU characteristics, all protections implemented in different Airbus A/C type but also all Airbus internal design directive such as ABD100 1.8.

To do that, several tasks have been already done:

·  Compare all Aircraft External power protection for Airbus AirCraft (A/C) Family,
·  Verify compatibility with Ground Power Unit protection as per ISO or SAE standard.

This internship will start on 1st March 2017 (subject to some flexibility).
