Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

You will be joining the unit responsible for Avionics and Flight Control engineering. You will be working in the context of avionics engineering to calculate power balances based on MBSE techniques (Model Based System Engineering).

You will use Capella software (Eclipse platform). This software is used for capturing the modelling of the avionics system. Capella Studio software is used to create a set of model processing and customisation viewpoints/add-ons.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will have the following main missions:

·  Familiarisation with the Capella and Capella Studio software, as well as the associated Arcadia method,
·  Creation of a "Power balance" add-on using elements of the model: attributes, Arcadia concepts, metamodel extension,
·  Proposal of solutions interfacing with the avionics ecosystem to collect or submit electrical and system data base values and simulation tools.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school or a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in IT, software, simulation or modelling.

Ideally, you have initial work experience.

You have skills in the following areas:

·  Collaborative design for manufacturing processes,
·  Fundamentals of systems engineering,
·  Electricity, electronics and electromagnetism,
·  Sub-systems, equipment, module development,
·  Design and its requirements.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Intermediate level,
French: Fluency
