Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

You will join the Performance and Improvement department. Within the digital age, your mission will consist in exploring improvement avenues that are included in the daily activities of mechanical engineering excellence centre.

This internship will start on 9th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

1st axis: Searching for innovative solutions

·  Analysing existing repetitive processes (e.g.: production steering, activity steering, follow-up and exploitation of data, etc.),
·  Carrying out technology intelligence in the information processing and digital communication sector,
·  Proposing and studying innovative solutions (interface, communication mode, IHM)

2nd axis: Pre-project

·  Carrying out a pre-project study integrating the proposed innovative solution or solutions,
·  Performing an internal feasibility study (having an initial contact with various sectors (computer science, IT, etc.),
·  Carrying out a profitability project study (business case),
·  Elaborating a specification in order to launch the project (deliverables, planning).

Required skills

You are in the final year of an engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in General Engineering, IT or any other field related to the topic of this internship.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and you have good knowledge of current digital tools.
You have the necessary IT skills to program a SharePoint.

You are recognised for your synthesis skills and your good communication skills.
You are meticulous, a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent level.
