Description of the job

Airbus Blagnac is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship. This internship will start in January/February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

You will be part of Airbus IMA team (Architecture and Transversal Activities) within the overall Airbus ICT department.

The IMA team is in charge of various activities structured around 3 pillars:

·  ARCHITECTURE: Enterprise Architecture and Strategy, 5 years Master Plan, Solution Architecture, Standards.
·  PORTFOLIO: Project portfolio, Service portfolio, Application portfolio, Performance Management and Reporting, Communication.
·  QUALITY, PROCESS and TOOLS: Quality assurance, Process and Methods, IT Tools, Change Management and Training, Knowledge Management, Operating Model and Governance.

You will be responsible for:

·  Identifying and improving the process related to our portfolio (project, service and application) where data are stored in various referential and supported by dedicated tools,
·  Improving and maintaining the Data Quality with the following approach.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Launching Data Quality Campaign,
·  Following up improvements,
·  Publishing the Dashboard,
·  Analysing root causes and Resolving issues,
·  Automating some tasks.

The process improvement and Data Quality maintenance will bring:

·  Support to decision making of the portfolio,
·  Help to complexity reduction,
·  Assessment of impact and risks,
·  Setting up of governance.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  You are in the last year of a Master's degree in Computer Science / IT specialising in Data, Databases, IT applications and looking for a 6 months internship.
·  Good ability to use databases, ability to analyse data, look for root causes.
·  Strong Information and Communications Technology (ICT) background.
·  Experience/Knowledge in Project Management would be a plus.
·  Proficient with the Microsoft Pack Office (Excel - Vba, PowerPoint, etc.) and in IT tools.
·  You are autonomous, proactive and are recognised for your analytical and synthesis skills.
·  You have a negotiation level in French and advanced level in English.
