Description of the job
Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.
This internship will take place in the Innovation, Industrialisation and Tooling team of the Electrical Product Production Centre.
This project is a subject in itself, of major industrial importance.
Within the framework of the mise au point of a precise high-performance manufacturing mean, which integrates several functions at the same time, you will be in charge of providing a visual 3D support to operators during the different manufacturing phases, in order to optimise the production cycles.
The main objective is to create dynamic assembly procedures using CAD 3DVIA software.
This internship will start on 1st March 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Familiarising yourself with the dynamic animation creation module of 3DVIA software,
· Proposing innovative and interactive modules for assisted manufacturing,
· Validating the study of needs and the specification for these assistance modules,
· Validating the technological and technical choice,
· Analysing the CAD drawings and manufacturing processes (analysis of each manufacturing phase),
· Creating the dynamic assembly procedures corresponding to each of the phases using the 3DVIA CAD software,
· Validating the manufacturing processes and deploying the assisted manufacturing solution,
· Carrying out the first tests (planning, multi-parameter tests and results analysis),
· Preparing an action plan for larger-scale tests, as well as for product launch,
· Working with a supplier to implement visualisation means,
· Finalising the solution and determining the elements enabling product evolution.
Supported by the Industrialisation and Innovation department, these modules for assisted manufacturing will be implemented in the production workshop.
This project could also be integrated into a partner project between different companies from the aerospace sector.
Profil recherché
Required skills
You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of engineering school, university or equivalent, specialising in General Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
You ideally have an initial experience in this field and good knowledge and/or skills in:
· CAD,
· 3DVIA,
· Catia V5
· Kinematics
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
English: intermediate level
French: fluent.
