Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a six-month placement.

You will join the Composites team and participate in the continuous improvement of each product line, particularly on the management of tools, Lean and 5S projects and production management routines.

This internship will be available from 2 January 2017 (although there is a certain degree of flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Setting up the team, organization and project schedule
·  Delivering a plan of action meeting the set objectives
·  Carrying out this action plan (with support from the production team)
·  Being a major contributor to initiating change in the production line.

Required skills

Candidates should be in their final year at an engineering school, Master's students or university students (5th year) specialising in Engineering/Production.

Ideally, you already have some initial experience.

You have the following qualities:

·  Meticulous approach
·  Organisation, effectiveness and responsiveness
·  Sociability.

Knowledge of the continuous improvement techniques, Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc., will be appreciated.

Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a team and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Intermediate level
French: fluent
