Description of the job

A vacancy for an internship on the Improvement and Production Management (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Operations SAS at its Saint-Eloi site.

On the 320 NEO line, production is currently in a transition phase to series production line.
A lot of resources will be delivered in the months/years ahead and several operations must be implemented.
The internship will consist in managing development projects for the production line (organisation, installation, budget follow-up, lean, etc.).
The precise geometry and the internship topic will be defined according to the internship dates.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility) for a period of 6 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

1/ Optimisation project for the production management and production costs.
You will perform steering with VBA in an existing Excel file to optimise the tool. Tool improvement project related to the production steering.
Challenge of this mission: understand production steering in order to better meet improvement needs.

2/ "HandBook" project: you will define the operating modes of the production line.
Project leader role: organisation of meetings, studies and implementation of the deliverable, definition of goals, management of costs, continuous improvement.

3/ Discovery and immersion in the production world. Exchanges with the team leaders and workers.

Required skills

·  You are currently enrolled in an Engineering school or equivalent (5-year degree)
·  Knowledge of software/tools: Proficiency in the Office suite and in particular Excel (VBA, TCD, Macros)
·  Knowledge of project management
·  Intermediate level of English and advanced level of French.
