Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 6 month internship.

For a portfolio of buy products/suppliers, you will be responsible for the whole Procurement process with the support of the Multi Functional Team (MFT/ MDT) team. You will develop and you will implement commodity strategies in order to ensure short and long term competitiveness, and ensure consistency on all Procurement actions for the commodity.

You will be also responsible for leading the MFT/MDT (with possible delegation to Buyer). You will be the entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services).

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Establishing, implementing and improving commodity strategy,
·  Implementing the Procurement policy,
·  Performing market analysis (global sourcing including offsets),
·  Managing sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc.) & contract management,
·  Contributing in monitoring & improving supplier performance,
·  Identifying & leading value creation project and supporting product /service innovation,
·  Sustaining long term relationships with suppliers,
·  Ensuring risk management.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th year of business school, university or equivalent specializing in Procurement.

You ideally have an initial experience in this domain.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: negotiation level,
French: negotiation level.
