Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 5-6 month internship.

The digital link SpaceWire offers effective point-to-point links of up to 200 Mbits/s.
Space equipment increasingly uses this standard to transmit or receive data.

This internship will start on 3rd April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Improving the validation tester for these SpaceWire links
·  After evaluating the architecture, increasing its capacities by developing VHDL functions targeted to a Zynq FPGA
·  Developing software scenarios for carrying out automatic test sequences
·  Industrialising the product.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, the second year of a Master's degree or the 5th year of university, specialising in Engineering/Electronics/Microwave, more specifically in Digital Electronics.

You ideally have some initial experience.

You have skills in:

·  C programming
·  VHDL.

Knowledge of communication protocols would be a plus.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level
French: fluent.
