Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for at least a 6-month internship.

Within the context of a Repeat Modif In Industry project, a new industrialisation follow-up tool of new parts will be deployed within Airbus Helicopters.
The aim of this internship is to support the deployment of this new tool within the final assembly line of the Super Puma/H225.

This internship will start on 3rd April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will report to the industrial engineer team and you will join the Manufacturing Engineering department of the Super Puma Final Assembly Line (FAL), your tasks will include:

·  Following up the development of the new tool
·  Participating in tool tests, before and after its deployment
·  Facilitating the transition between the old industrialisation follow-up tool and the new one
·  Helping various final users with their handling of the tool
·  Providing assistance for the implementation of the necessary routines for the proper use of the tool
·  Helping with the set-up of indicators enabling the measurement of the tool effectiveness to keep track of industrialisation
·  Summarising the difficulties encountered by users/identifying the modifications needed for the tool in order to resolve the issues

During the internship, you will have to establish numerous contacts with:

·  Tool development teams
·  Various users of the tool within the Super Puma FAL (assembly preparation, detail part preparation, buyers, procurement)
·  Users from other product department within Airbus Helicopters

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Engineering/General Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

You are a proficient user of IT tools, in particular Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of SAP (new tool) and/or Microsoft Access (old tool) would be a plus

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent level.
