Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within the Avionics customisation Design Office, the purpose of your internship will be to implement a test bench for the ADELT - Automatically Ejectable Emergency Locator System.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

The different steps of your internship will be as follows:

1/ Understanding of the ADELT system: equipment items, functions, interfaces, installation on helicopter,
2/ Specification of a test bench allowing the system operation test, in nominal mode and downgraded mode,
3/ Production of the test bench,
4/ Development of the test procedure,
5/ Validation of the test procedure,
6/ Issue of recommendations concerning the operating limitations / constraints of the system.

Required skills

You are in the second year of an Engineering School, University or equivalent (4-year degree) specialising in Avionics Engineering with the electronics option.

Ideally, you have initial work experience in this field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: advanced level.
