Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a 6-months internship.

Within the Unit Ground Operations Infrastructures, in the MGSE Design Office department, you will have the following mission: technical responsibility at component/equipment/mechanical/software level during the implementation phase, including responsibility for integration, verification and validation.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

1/ Inputs: Requirements provided by system architecture, design rules and standards, interface requirements and constraints, work package definitions.

2/ Outputs: Implementation data packages, drawings and schematics (if applicable) of pre-tested and tested system elements, documentation, analysis and test reports, test requirements, test facilities and tools, sample to be tested.

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Delivering the design, drawings, schematics, prototypes, SW modules delegated, as per the Work Package description.
·  Managing version control of various iterations if necessary.
·  Deciding and specifying which analysis needs to be performed and monitoring its execution.
·  Drawing conclusions/recommendations based on the analysis performed.
·  Ensuring testing and validation of the delegated work package is performed.
·  Gathering and maintaining all necessary documentation related to the delegated work package.

Required skills

You are in the final year of an engineering school or university (Bac + 5), specialising in Mechanical Engineering.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: negotiation level.
