We are looking for motivated students to join our teams at Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse area.

You are familiar with technologies and you like to propose innovative solutions. In addition to the subjects that you will work on, you will have the opportunity to develop different skills such as teamwork, communication and project management.

Several internship vacancies titled: “Software Engineer (M/F)” have arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

You will gather business requirements, define system functionality and write code in various languages, like Java, Ruby on Rails or .NET programming languages (e.g. C++ or JScript.NET.)

The internships will start from January 2018 (date subject to some flexibility) and are for a duration of 4 to 6 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will support software engineering projects and work more specifically on:

·  Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
·  Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
·  Write well-designed, testable code
·  Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
·  Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
·  Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
·  Document and maintain software functionality
·  Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
·  Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
·  Comply with project plans and industry standards
·  Ensure software is updated with latest features

Required skills

You are currently enrolled in a Master degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering, Software Development), or Engineering studies with a Major in IT (or equivalent)

You have the following skills and experience:

·  Preferably, a fist academic or professional experience in software engineering
·  Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++ or other programming languages
·  Experience with test-driven development
·  Proficiency in software engineering tools
·  Ability to document requirements and specifications
·  Communication skills (stakeholder management & social networks)
·  English : Advanced/negotiation level
·  French : intermediate level is a plus
