Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 9th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Within the AL Light Helicopters quality team, under the supervision of the Compliance Manager, your main tasks will be as follows:

·  Collecting and understanding operational needs,
·  Proposing the appropriate Lean methodology,
·  Managing the Process mapping/Value Stream Mapping analyses,
·  Identifying key improvement areas,
·  Proposing a target organisation/process,
·  Action Plan management,
·  Establishing visual management standards and tools,
·  Accompanying the change

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in production engineering or quality and methods

You have knowledge in the Lean domain, continuous improvement, and quality.

Ideally you should have initial work experience, preferably in the Lean domain.

You are recognised as always being ready to serve.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Intermediate level,
French: Fluent.
