Description of the job

A vacancy for an Intelligence Digital Plateform Integration manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse.
You will join The Intelligence business cluster of AIRBUS DS Communication Intelligence Space (CIS). The main role of CIS: prepare the future geo-information services based on a Digital Plateform on the cloud and prepare the accommodation of Post-Pleiades system.
As part of the overall architecture of this new groud system, a so-called Intelligence Digital Platform (IDP° will be developed and deployed on a public Cloud.
This platform will enable to:

·  Host imagery on-line and provide efficient access to it
·  Perform massive advanced processing of imagery
·  Build analytical services
·  Provide access to data, processing and analytics “as-a-service” for our customers

The jobholder reports to the IDP development manager and works in close collaboration with the IDP Architect and IDP Cloud expert.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Supporting the implementation of new platform & services based on the IDP components
·  Integrating and deploying dedicated platforms relying on both IDP software components and on self-developed solutions (based on Cloud services)
·  Setting-up deployment scripts, automatic tests and monitoring means for the IDP environment
·  Designing and implementing customization of IDP components
·  Following-up the early stages of the new services deployed on the IDP
·  Supporting the IDP exploitation team
·  Working in an Agile mode

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 4-degree level in Networks Engineering or a related discipline.
·  Experience in:

o Development and integration of Cloud based applications, especially Google Cloud Plateform
o Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ElasticSearch
o Java and Golang languages
o Continuous integration and agile development

·  Knowledge of Earth Observation services (functions, performances, operational concepts) or/and Geomatics (OGC standard, etc.) will be a plus
·  Knowledge of Java and Golang languages
·  English: fluent
