Job Objectives

The Jobholder, as a member of the Flight Hour Services (FHS) entity, reports to the HO ASAP Flight Hour Services Singapore. The Jobholder is responsible for the delivery and performance of the TSP SIA and SCOOT engineering performance, process alignment, methodology and best practices implementation. The jobholder is responsible to support the definition and implementation of the overall FHS Engineering strategy, its organization and its integration within Airbus FHS and Airbus.

In his/her function, the job holder, manages her/his engineering resources, based in Singapore, responsible for maintaining Singapore Airlines A330 and A380 and Scoot Fleets to the highest Operational Reliability and Aircraft On-Time Performance (AOTP) in line with airworthiness requirements EASA and CAAS and in accordance with Airbus Technical Standards and FHS Financial interests on his/her relevant scope of activity.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of  TSP SIIR - APR management member, the job holder accountability is, with his/her peers and his/her manager, as a team, to:

· 
Develop key strategic customer relationships especially with technical/engineering management organizations

· 
Put in place and run, a department operating model allowing control of business activities (performance, risk…) and associated resources

· 
Support development, mobility  & performance of all department team members

· 
Share best practices, information relevant to the group to avoid silos and ensure consistent practices across all SLRI services,

· 
Contribute to necessary knowledge management and exchange

· 
Ensure definition of efficient and integrated workshare between the FHS Engineering teams (located in TLS), the Local TSP Ops & RIC Engineering teams (in Singapore), and the FHS Engineering Support Center (located in SIN)  

· 
Foster the development and implementation of standardized processes, methods and tools to improve efficiency and quality of activities performed

· 
Support integration of AIRBUS FHS Engineering with overall AIRBUS organization

· 
Stimulate alignment across all FHS Engineering teams in case of topics concerns APU, its LRUs or multiple programs

· 
Support FHS-TSP & FHS-C sales campaigns when necessary

As responsible for the organization and management of all teams reporting operationally to him/her, which consists in:

· 
Organization and staffing of team as  per business requirement

· 
Translating the Airbus FHS-TSP Domain strategy into clear activities for his/her team

· 
Ensuring his/her team objectives are defined and manage individual performance of his/her team members

· 
Engaging and develop his/her team

· 
Managing team skills, competences & knowledge

· 
Anticipate succession planning

· 
Developing processes, methods and tools to improve efficiency and quality of services delivered and airworthiness management

· 
Managing budget, AOP, Risks and Opportunities in coordination with FHS Programs Interface

· 
Ensuring integration of FHS Engineering activities with AIRBUS FHS and overall AIRBUS Support organization

Driving anticipated identification and improvement of FHS top critical technical issues,

·  Manage exchange, communication, prioritization and escalation of issues with FHS Programs (financial impact), AIRBUS Support programmes (SBx),  Support Engineering (SII) for necessary items, including participation to SBCB when necessary
·  Manage the interface with OEMs and suppliers to address escalated technical issues and queries in coordination with Procurement and S operating units
·  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, new A/C programme and current A/C programme development/optimization

Define needs for digital tools for engineering and maintenance activities

·  Contribute to the performance and unique added-value of FHS services
·  Provide business expertise to support the development of solutions
·  Test/implement the available solutions, to feedback on benefits and added values
·  Monitor associated cost reduction or performance improvements

Job Requirements

· 
Minimum degree holder in Aerospace Engineering or Aircraft maintenance license holder

· 
Preferably Minimum 3 years of managerial experience with strong leadership and multicultural skills

· 
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Airline/MRO, in an engineering position

· 
Great organizational skills, flexibility managing multiple priorities, working to changing deadline and attention to details,

·

Ability to work under stress
