A vacancy for a FTI Systems Architecture Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe .
The successful applicant will join Engineering Department .

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Definition and Design of all Flight Test Installations (FTI) onboard the Flight Test Aircrafts: architecture specification.
·  Prepare FTI Documentation to be provided to A/C installation Design Offices.
·  Define and perform overall FTI system integration tests on FTI Laboratory and onboard the A/C.
·  Prepare all FTI system documentation, Aircraft FTI system architecture, measurement list, validity notes, NRD, FTI Block Diagrams, DIS, DOI, SI, FTI Handbooks, etc.
·  FTI Snag investigation and solving, using SABRE CRIEV and STILo tools.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Basic education as Electronics, Aeronautics o Telecommunication engineering.

·  Experience in flight test installations and test telemetry facilities, especially in the Eurofighter, AI Derivatives and M&L programs.
·  Good knowledge of FTI technologies and systems: Data and video telemetry, data acquisition systems, data recording, sensors and transducers, monitoring and data process, onboard video systems, etc.
·  Proven knowledge of the Airbus DS processes and tools for design and test of the FTI systems for Flight Test Aircrafts.
·  Proven knowledge of the following documentation and tools: A/C installation documentation, NRD, FTI Block Diagrams Drawing Information Sheets and FTI Data Sheets, Sabre, Sabre Criev, STILo, N-Show, RODAS, EPD, TLB.
·  Ability to work as part of a working team, some time under pressure. Methodic, organized, assertive and proactive traits are also expected.
