Tasks & accountabilities

APSYS is looking for an Electrical Materials and Processes engineer. Your mission and responsibilities in the frame of studying and developing coating technologies for functional applications will include:

·  Technical perimeter addressed:
·  Electrical & conductive layers deposit technologies (such as printed electronics)
·  Sensors, connectors & instrumentation technologies
·  Identify and participate in the State of the Art elaboration at a worldwide scale
·  SWOT analysis in regards to targeted application and be part of the innovative technological choice for demonstrator elaboration
·  Technical specification redaction for demonstrator manufacturing; document will include materials selected, definition constrains, connectors aspects…
·  Propose qualification test plan in order to characterize prototype parts
·  Perform functional tests and characterize surface, performances of the coating
·  Project follow-up with selected partners, suppliers
·  Elaborate synthetic progress reports

Required skills

You hold an engineering degree or comparable –PhD diploma specialized in materials, electronics and sensors and / or aerospace
Knowledge of conductive technologies, connectors, instrumentation, layer deposition processes & electrical characterization techniques is a real plus for this mission
Knowledge of NDA establishment & rules, and patent elaboration
Technologist you are attracted in qualifying electronic materials and industrial use and you have an ability to develop ideas and concept for new technologies
You ideally justify a first experience in Research & Development project management with multi internal/external interfaces
Curious, pro-active, you know how to work in a multidisciplinary team, and have a good analytical mind
French: native/fluent. English: professional
