Description of the job

You are passionate about IT, experienced in software development techniques and convinced by the business added value of the digitalization?

The Airbus' Information Management (IM) division and Digital Accelerator department are looking for a Mixed Reality Solutions Integrator (m/f) to join his new “Holographic Academy” team in Toulouse, France.

Using Agile principles and ways of working, the “Holographic Academy” team will partner with business leaders and product owners in the Digital Transformation of the company to develop prototypes, business applications and products linked to Mixed Reality. Following the roadmap defined by the Mixed Reality Program Leader, the team interacts with a wide range of stakeholders, supporting them to make Mixed Reality a company commonality.

Mixed Reality refers to the merging of real and virtual elements. It encompasses Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

Your role will be to be responsible for the definition of standards and processes that will ease the integration of any Mixed Reality Operational Application or Framework inside the Airbus Information System. In this mission, you will report to the Holographic Academy Team Leader.

Tasks & accountabilities

Specific responsibilities of the position are:
‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
ø Closely link with all Information Management teams in order to identify the constraints of integrating applications and frameworks inside the Airbus Information System,
ø Define specific standards and repeatable processes that any Mixed Reality operational applications/frameworks should follow to be easily integrated inside the Airbus Information System,
ø Support the Holographic Academy team and any external department in following these standards and processes when developing Mixed Reality operational applications / frameworks,
ø Closely link with the whole Holographic Academy team to guaranty consistency, continuity and efficiency of all Mixed Reality Solutions developed within the team,
ø Actively participate to development of Mixed Reality operational applications / frameworks and even prototypes.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

Your Boarding Pass
‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
ø Master's Degree ideally in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (or equivalent),
ø Strong experience in object oriented software architecture, design and development,
ø Relevant Agile experience working in cross-functional Agile teams from inception to release,
ø Familiarity with software security standards and common Industrial Information Systems constraints,
ø Passion for quality and consistency in software design and development,
ø Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks concurrently,
ø Advanced level in English, French would be a plus.

As a plus,
ø A previous experience with the Airbus Information System,
ø Relevant experience in AR/VR software design and development,
ø Proven experience in using Unity,
ø 3D modelling skills,
ø 3D models simplification skills (formats and pipeline).
