Description of the job

Are you passionate about IT, experienced in software development techniques and convinced by the business added value of the digitalization?

As part of our Digital Transformation, a vacancy for an IT Service Management Software engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Digital Accelerator a department of IM (Information Management), in charge of IT solutions for Services domain.

The Digital Accelerator is an integral part of Airbus’ IT department and is building and operating new business platforms and services adopting new technologies, automation, digital native skills and agile ways of working to accelerate our digitalization journey.

The Digital Accelerator is about making the benefits of digital technologies available to Airbus so we can bring value to market much faster, while retaining quality and scale.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Defining and delivering ITSM software implementation according to business requirements

·  Providing Software expertise and support for any requirements

·  Defining, delivering and promoting best practices ITSM platform standards and best practices

·  Promoting automation and efficiency

·  Working in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for ITSM platform (developer, architect, software engineer, product owner, process owner, etc.)

This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in IT or a related discipline

·  Strong experience with IT Service Management platform like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow (any certification appreciated)

·  Strong experience of ITIL processes and ITSM implementation

·  Knowledge on some of the following programming languages and concepts Java, XML, Python/Json, Javascrypt, Angular.js, but also on Linux system

·  Knowledge on some of the following products/tools: Splunk, Ansible, Docker, Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Jira/Confluence, etc.

·  Knowledge with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) is a plus: building and deploying cloud solutions (AWS preferred)

·  Proven track record working in Agile

·  Advanced level of English

·  Advanced level of French would be appreciated
