As the European specialist in cyber security, the mission of Airbus’ CyberSecurity business is to protect governments, companies and critical infrastructures from cyber threats. Its trusted, high performance security products and services are able to detect, analyse and counter the most advanced cyber attacks.

Description of the job:

A vacancy for a Cyber Security Aeronautics Architect (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus CyberSecurity in Manching. The successful applicant will join ' Defence und Aerospace Security'.

Tasks

·  Security system engineering for safety-critical aeronautical systems
·  Requirements-based and model-based system engineering
·  Performing security risk assessments
·  Aligning and communicating security measures with system designers across engineering disciplines
·  Integrating security safeguards into the safety process of aeronautical engineering
·  Developing aeronautical security system architectures
·  Developing aeronautical security measures for network and cloud architectures
·  Supporting security accreditation process of security equipment with national and international authorities
·  Generating security concepts in the context of European defence projects
·  Participating in European cyber security research projects
·  Collaborating with project partner companies

Qualifications

·  Master in electrical engineering, communications, computer science or similar, (PhD would be a plus)
·  Skills in tools like DOORS, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect
·  Experience with risk assessment tools
·  Basic software engineering skills are a plus
·  Experience in security accreditation (e.g. national authorities, NATO, EASA)
·  Knowledge of relevant safety standards and their proposed security amendments, e.g. EASA CS-25, NPA 2019-01, NPA 2019-07
·  Aeronautical engineering background (SAE ARP 4754)
·  Experience in defence-driven projects is a plus
·  A willingness for travelling is required
