This individual will play an important role within Shipping & Logistics. Jobs in Customs are very rewarding and offer you a unique opportunity to understand the import and export sector from a legal perspective.

This placement will involve the preparation of Customs documentation to ensure that any shipments either imported or exported meet all applicable laws so that entry or export can occur.

Tasks

During this placement, the activities you may undertake will include;

Responsibilities:

· 
Supporting Customs Team in daily import/export of satellite parts

· 
Supporting the end to end process, from supplier to customer

· 
Preparing accurate customs clearance data entry work in accordance with Customs and Government regulations

· 
Entering details onto SAP system and specialised customs software

· 
Awareness of the supply chain operation, including logistics

Requirements:

Good computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint.

Good communication skills

· 
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

· 
Full customs training will be provided
