Description of the job

A vacancy for a Cost accountant (m/f) has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Blagnac. You will join the Department in charge of Cost Accounting UK.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing the P&L of Airbus Operations SAS, of which:

·  Implementing the quality checks and review of the data quality,
·  Controlling of completeness and consistency of the P&L,
·  Analysing of the main variations,
·  Submitting in Facts+ (consolidation tool),
·  Delivering the monthly activity report.

2. Following up the performance of the closing process, for both Airbus Operations SAS and Airbus SAS, of which:

·  Reviewing the monthly performance KPIs, initiating the associated actions,
·  Identifying and implementing process optimizations,
·  Interfacing with the Finance Systems Department to develop and test new functionalities in SAP,
·  Implementing tools to facilitate the analysis and the control of data.

3. Coordinating the different Airbus entities in terms of Master Data and reporting rules by playing a key role in the implementation of the new SAP platform, being the key user representative for France and coordinating the other entities.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Finance / Accounting or a related discipline,
·  Good knowledge of SAP modules FI and CO,
·  knowledge of information systems (MIAGE),
·  Experience in Projects management,
·  Good communication skills, Rigor,
·  Language Skills: Negotiation level of English.
