Description of the job

A vacancy for a Connected Solutions Development and Integration Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. You will join System Maintenance & Products department ETXOS.

The Department is responsible for the leadership, coordination and development of engineering activities dedicated to Maintenance Products.

In Ground Products Development team you will contribute to the design and implementation of solutions for AH customers:

·  Innovative HUMS ground solutions and Digital Maintenance

·  Dynamic Troubleshooting and Automated Diagnostic

·  Helicopters Data-based Airworthiness Management

·  Ground Connectivity Components (card-based wire and wireless communications between Helicopter and Ground)

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Software development in the frame of prototyping and proof of concept activities in close relation with internal customers and technical actors.

·  Integration activities in the frame of industrial projects (technical support for dry runs, technical support for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment setup on projects)

·  Capitalize from implementations in specifications and architecture/design diagrams when required

·  Technological watch to help introduce and mature new technology within Connected Solutions context

·  Liaise with Ground Segment Architects and IM Architects to support the design of prototyping IT environment when required

·  Support to Architecture and Design activities in the frame of industrial projects

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering / Avionics or Information Technology

·  Demonstrated experience in Software development (Java, C/C++, JS/HTML5, RESTful APIs)

·  Knowledge of Software architecture (desktop, multi-tiers)

·  Knowledge of System Administration in Windows and Linux operating systems

·  Knowledge of Docker and containerization solutions ; cloud technology knowledge is a plus

·  Basic knowledge in TCP/IP stack and associated protocols, and awareness of simple IP network topologies

·  Used to Agile methodology (Scrum)

·  Curious and open-minded for change and continuous improvement

·  Autonomy and solution driven mindset

Language Skills: English negotiation level, French fluent level
