Description of the job

A vacancy for a Commodity buyer has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

Within General Procurement (GP) of Airbus, you will perform strategic procurement activities within the sub-commodity Test & Quality Services, with a trans-national and cross-divisional approach taking into account the General Procurement perimeter.

In particular, you will be accountable for :

·  Implementing the procurement strategy defined by the Category Manager / MultiFunctional-Team (MFT) / Multi-Divisional-Team (MDT) within the scope of activity supporting Airbus Divisions' needs
·  Leading the strategy implementation through Multi-Functional-Team (MFT) / MultiDivisional-Team (MDT)

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be in charge of:

·  Driving compliant General Procurement (GP) processes in the framework of the activity scope of sub-commodity Test & Quality Services for the Airbus General Procurement perimeter, mainly focusing on procurement of subcontracted activities,
·  Leading MFT/MDT members within the framework of national, trans-national, divisional and/or trans-divisional procurement projects (e.g. Call for Tenders, Requests for Information), contribute to the control, standardization and bundling of the demand, challenge and approve the specifications and run the supplier selection processes,
·  Negotiating, establishing and implementing Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Work Package Agreements (WPA) based on Categories' strategies,
·  Performing contract management with regular contract reviews with Airbus Divisions' internal customer base and strategic suppliers, based on consistent and factual commercial, quality and delivery KPIs as defined in technical specification, CFT process and Work Package Agreement (WPA), evaluate and improve suppliers' performance in terms of time, costs and quality,
·  Managing suppliers' overall performance and the impact of weak performance on Airbus Divisions and initiate recovery actions when necessary,
·  Providing guidance, strategy updates, rules and process information to Business Operations to ensure correct execution of transactional procurement activities aligned with the categories' strategies to full customer satisfaction,
·  Participating in the definition of trans-national, cross-divisional procurement strategies by providing continues feedback, benchmark, costing and "make or buy" analysis,
·  Contributing to the implementation of new procurement tools such as e-procurement and e-catalogues, as needed I. Monitor savings linked to Call for Tender results, demand management and procurement performance; contribute to secure and achieve Airbus Divisions' Saving Programmes' commitments (procurement performance),

This role will involve some travel for business (1 / month - mainly Europe) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5-yr degree level
·  Experience in one of the following areas: Procurement, Sales, Engineering
·  Negotiation skills
·  Good communication and presentation skills
·  Negotiation level of English
·  French is a plus.
