Description of the job

Enhancing animated objects and Python scripts coding for animation of in service events.

During in service events analysis (accidents/incidents), animations are performed to illustrate and explain the event.
When an event occurs, DFDR / CVR are collected to be analysed. This data also feeds a graphical animation. The tool used is FAS-INV: https://www.planesciences.com/flight-animation
FAS-INV entry data are in javascript (.JS and .JSON) and graphical objects in Scalator Vector Graphics (.SVG). FAS-INV tool can also be enhanced with new functions thanks to python scripts.

Required skills

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experiences:

·  BAC+3/4 such as Engineer / University degree in aeronautics

·  Knowledges in Avionics, cockpit displays, flight controls and handling qualities

·  Relational skills : Teamwork and autonomous

·  IT skills :
o Programming (Python, windows)
o Files format (.js, .json, .csv, .svg, .gif, .kml, .swf, .fla, .xml, .bmp…),
o Tools (notepad++, gimp, paint, animate, …)

·  Language skills : French and/or English
