Description of the job

Title of the internship: Design of a compartment for coffin transportation

Fields of activity: Cabin Engineering

Subject of the internship and expected results:
Conception of a cabin / cargo compartment for the transportation of Coffins in ATR72 & 42. This includes ergonomic studies for coffin loading, respecting of certification requirements and Weight & Balance studies with the relevant service. The design shall be made with CATIA V5. The result shall be presented in a 3D model, the stress analysis of the design shall be performed, the design shall allow production at low costs and withstand dynamic flight loads without vibration. Surrounding cabin installations have to be taken into account.

Required skills

Level of studies: Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Sciences

Training area: Mechanical Design

Technical skills:
