Description of the job

An Architect for Launchers MBSE Solutions position has just opened in Airbus Safran Launchers aux Mureaux.
Developing space systems implies complex activities involving many parties who are widely distributed in location and time. Such development requires efficient and effective approach during the complete lifecycle of the space system. This is integral part of the system engineering process and can only be achieved by realizing interoperability between all involved parties, i.e. ensuring that programs, systems, disciplines, suppliers and the customers have the same language, understanding of the information representing the systems. Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is one of the solutions, which is "the formalized application of modelling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation, beginning in the conceptual design phase and continuing throughout development, verification and operations life cycle phases" (source: "INCOSE Systems Engineering Vision 2020" TP- 2004-004-02, v2.03, Sep 2007). There are three important aspects of an MBSE implementation/approach: the method, the supporting tool(set) and the implementation language(s).
The objectives of the job is to participate at the deployment of MBSE processes and methodologies working with multiple disciplines and to develop MBSE solution for collaborative model based design methods and processes for Space Systems both at the system level and key subsystems level / system domains.
