Description of the job

An apprenticeship position for a Training and Flight Operations Software Junior Buyer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac.

You will join the Component Support department, part of the Purchasing division that buys flight simulators, training means and software for flight operations intended for internal customers of Customer Services and Flights Operations.

You will support the daily activity of the Purchasing division.

This apprenticeship placement will start in September 2017 (subject to some flexibility) and is for a duration of 24 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main activities will be the following ones:

·  Taking part in developing the calls for tender and the executing orders in the SAP software package
·  Taking part in sourcing activities (collecting information on suppliers)
·  Assisting with contract writing, rereading and with negotiating small contracts
·  Being involved in all the contract activities with the buyers

Required skills

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

·  3-year degree (or equivalent) in Purchasing or International Business
·  Knowledge of the legal domain and negotiation in particular would be a plus
·  Good writing skills
·  Functional skills: An involved, meticulous, versatile and team-spirit approach
·  Advanced to negotiation level of English
·  Intermediate level of French
