Description of the job

An Apprenticeship for Software Engineer in deployment and support of training devices (m/f) has arisen within the Airbus in its site of Blagnac.

This apprenticeship will start on September 2017 (date subject to flexibility) and will last from 2 to 3 years.

You will realize your apprenticeship within Training Center Support department in charge of the deployment and support of training devices. Training devices include “Light” means as classrooms and “Heavy” means such as simulators.

Tasks & accountabilities

In the frame of Airbus Training Services activities, you will join the team in charge of the deployment and support of classroom and training devices.

In this team, you will contribute to development projects for:

1. Easing and improving the deployment of Airbus Training means worldwide.
This first project is a "Smarter Classroom concept", based on cloud solution, with objectives to enhance:

·  Access, licence management, IP protection
·  Administration, scheduling, booking
·  Configuration management
·  Support 2. Setting up proof of concept to demonstrate and assess supplier's solution.
This second project is related to deployment of training tools by developing packaged solutions, Licence and configuration management.

You will be in touch with customers and worldwide Airbus training centers.

Required skills

You are enrolled in an IT School (bac+2) or equivalent with competencies in software architecture, cloud technologies and solutions, virtualization, software programming (Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, C / C++).

You want to integrate a Software Engineer degree (bac+4/+5) or equivalent, ideally specialized in Network Infrastructure and have an interest in aeronautics.

You have team spirit and are autonomous with spirit of initiative and good interpersonal relationships.

You have a negotiation level in French and an intermediate level in English.
