Description of the job

An apprenticeship in process analysis & tools development for a cost model (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the General Systems Engineering Program Management Department.

In Europe, the General Systems Engineering Program Management are in charge of transverse disciplines for systems conception in order to ensure certification, navigability, industrialization and security.
This 2 to 3 years apprenticeship will start in September 2017 (Date subject to flexibility).
In order to ensure performance and continuous improvement of all activities, the prediction and the workload and budget steering is a challenge that needs to integrate the Design Office, Programs and Finance requirements.
Via a first prototype on Excel, a model describing the activities workload of the different teams allowed to qualify and quantify the added value of the different teams while piloting their performance in relation to the needs of the Aircraft Programs.
It is now necessary to structure an improvement process of this model and to industrialize it through tools adapted to the needs and maintainable over time.

Tasks & accountabilities

In the frame of the different General Systems Engineering Program Management activities, the aim of the mission is to:

·  Optimize the technical and financial consolidation of business model process
·  Optimize the modelling of the jobs from data coming from each aircraft program
·  Define the ways of measuring the activity of the various jobs using appropriate indicators
·  Study software architecture and develop a tool to monitor the performance of each job and improve the modelling over time.

Required skills

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  2 to 3 Year Degree (or equivalent) in Systems Engineering, Architecture or Aeronautic
·  Master use of EXCEL & ACCESS
·  Motivations toward Project Management and competencies in this field
·  Communication skills, curiosity
·  Advanced level in French
·  Advanced level in English
